The organ in Bygdsiljum Church was built by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri AB 1979-1980 and is a representative small organ from that builder and time period.
As is common with small organ instruments it’s fully mechanic in both tracker action and stop action, giving the organist full control of the attack and release phase.
The building itself was inaugerated already in 1924 but it wasn’t until 1959 when ownership of the chapel was passed on to Burträsk congregation that it was designated as a church.
The specification of the instrument is:
Pedal | Huvudverk (Great) | Svällverk (Swell) |
Subbas 16′ | Rörflöjt 8′ | Gedackt 8′ |
Gedakt 8′ | Principal 4′ | Rörflöjt 4′ |
Skalmeja 4′ | Waldflöjt 2′ | Principal 2′ |
I/P | Mixtur 3ch | Sesquialt. 2ch |
II/P | II/I | Tremulant |
